2. Data Processing & Storage

Legal Basis for Processing

We process data based on Contractual Necessity (to provide the synthesis service) and Explicit Consent (specifically for biometric handwriting cloning).

Cross-Border Transfers

Obsidex utilizes Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) to ensure that your data receives equivalent protection when transferred between EU and US-based infrastructure.

3. Biometric Governance

Handwriting style is classified as "Special Category Data" under Article 9 of the GDPR. We implement technical measures to ensure:

Anonymized Synthesis: Rendering engines operate on vectorized hashes, never the raw input image after initial calibration.
Audit Trails: Every access to a style vault is logged and monitorable by the data subject.
